The Plot :

Advertisement observed in La Voix du Peuple: "Bianca Sara would like to reunite all her friends who took their A-levels in 1973 at the Camil Petresco School in Bucharest. Rendez-vous Friday 15th December at the restaurant ‘The Draught of Cheer’. Let’s celebrate!"
Bianca left Rumania 20 years ago for France as a political exile and has made her mark in the literary world. Once back home she only wants one thing: to meet her classmates once again…at least those who are still alive. But this meeting proves to be a more painful experience than anticipated. Time has taken its toll, all the more so in that political events seem to have exacerbated hates and passions. Only Vlad’s ghost, the sole link between Bianca and her country during these 20 years seems to be able to inject a note of humour into the situation…
